Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients
• Float to Med Surg units as required
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• BLS certification required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 26-bed unit
• Specialize in post PCI, pacemaker, AICD, post MI patients and cardiac pharmacological interventions
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory care, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Complete pre-start modules with up to 5 billable hours
