Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts Friday through Monday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• 40-hour orientation required
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Only one holiday will be approved
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Epic experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT Radiography, BLS (AHA), IV Certification, State License, Venipuncture Certification
• Must obtain Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire
• All certifications must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submittal
• Perform quality computerized tomography examinations according to physician orders
• Coordinate CT examinations and protocol according to established guidelines
• Perform venipuncture and medication administration with focus on safety
• Document care accurately in electronic health record (EHR)
• Assess patients prior to studies to ensure safety and cooperation
• Work with PACS systems to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images
• Provide care for patients of all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
• Work with high risk and critically ill patients
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
