Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• Float pool position requiring float to ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios on all shifts
• Care for adults and geriatric patients
• 4 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
• California RN license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Only one holiday will be approved
• 50 miles travel requirement
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO, pacemakers, Swan Ganz catheters, EVD, ICP monitoring
• Care for CVICU patients recovering from heart surgery and ECMO patients, neurological ICU patients including post-thrombectomy stroke and craniotomy patients, SICU and MICU patients

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 24-bed ICU with a daily census of 16-20 patients, providing advanced critical care services across multiple specialty areas including cardiovascular, neurological, surgical, and medical intensive care. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support complex patient care needs and maintains extensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services.
