Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Required to float within skillset
• Must have active New York Single State RN license (NY is not compact state)
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• RNs within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• Dress code: any combination of navy blue and white scrubs
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Pre-approved time off available
• Must submit scheduling requests upon submission
• Clinical skills required: MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care/management, and isolation precautions
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 10 hours total, with 5 hours billable)
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations

The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including heart, cancer, and neuroscience programs. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
