Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• First time travelers accepted
• On call requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, Indiana license
• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Work with procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and the other scrubs
• Experience with Siemens equipment required
• Must work with adult patients, preferred experience with adolescents and geriatrics
• Call-in policy: make up missed shifts during pay period or add to end of contract
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating to affiliated hospitals required
• Charting system experience preferred (Cerner)

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive interventional radiology department with 4 IR rooms including 2 single plan and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms. The facility operates as a Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke center, providing advanced vascular interventional and neuro interventional services including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions. The facility maintains high standards for interventional procedures and uses state-of-the-art equipment to support complex cardiovascular and neurological interventions.
