Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts in day/night rotation schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for some holidays
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients
• Care for 26-bed unit primarily serving CHF patients, acute MI cases, post device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias
• Floating to other units is required
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have minimum 1 year of experience
• First time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted (must be more than 75 mile radius)
• Scrub color requirements: any combination of navy and white
• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, respiratory care including nasal cannula and oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
