Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Floating required within skillset
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Med Surg Telemetry experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response required
• Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams required
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills with peripheral line care and management
• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• RNs within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• Pre-approved time off available
• Up to 5 billable hours for required modules

This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including cardiac care, cancer treatment, neuroscience, pediatric emergency services, and birthing center. The facility provides advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
