Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work days, evenings, nights, and weekends as scheduled
• Coordinate and produce quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assist in CT guided procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, venipuncture, and safe medication administration
• Operate sophisticated imaging and ancillary equipment to produce quality CT procedures
• Perform venipuncture and medication administration with focus on safety and effectiveness
• Accurately document care in electronic health record (EHR)
• Assess patients prior to studies to ensure safety and cooperation
• Educate patients and answer concerns/questions prior to CT exams
• Work with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images
• Serve patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• 40 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Required certifications: ARRT Radiography, ARRT CT, CRT, IV Certification, BLS (AHA), and Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• 50 miles travel requirement
• Only one holiday will be approved for time off
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
