Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required to float within skillset
• Dress code: Any combination of navy blue and white scrubs
• EPIC charting experience required
• New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must submit RTO/block and special scheduling requests upon submission
• Accept first-time travelers
• Clinical skills required: MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care/management, and isolation precautions
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
