RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Weekend rotation schedule - details discussed during interview
• Call required - typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed and to Main OR
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period (see holiday policy)
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract - must be finalized at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit
• Skills include cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, and ventricular assist devices
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services and interpretation services
• GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
