Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3 twelve-hour shifts)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 2+ years of experience preferred, first-timers accepted
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH/NIHSS
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs - may be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED
• Work with adult patients with diagnoses including orthopedic, neurology, med/surg, and stroke
• Utilize EPIC charting system
• Navy scrubs required
• Must have telemetry monitoring experience (both on-unit and remote monitoring)
• Skills required: PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, PCA, CVA care, total joint replacement, isolation precautions/PPE
• 38 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of approximately 21 patients
• No locals accepted within 75-mile radius
• Pending license accepted
