Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 8-week contract length
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for adults and geriatrics
• Required to float within skillset
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience required
• 24 hours of orientation
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must have IV therapy skills including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs, and IV vasopressors
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management required
• Must be comfortable with CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI
• Cardiac monitoring experience including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Emergency care experience for adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic trauma
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, triage, and pediatric spinal cord injury
• Work with specialized equipment including Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Local radius restriction: RNs within 75 miles of facility not accepted
