Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for an 8-week contract
• Patient ratio of 1:5 with adults and geriatrics
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Required to float within skillset
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must have active New York Single State RN license (NY is not compact state)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must be comfortable with IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy
• Experience required with CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring
• Must handle emergency care for adults and pediatrics including gunshot wounds and trauma
• Work with specialized equipment including Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• Handle all emergency diagnoses including CVA, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and TBI
• Locals within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
