Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for a 13-week contract
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5 (1:7 for MedSurg)
• Floating required within skillset
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• 1 year of experience required
• Must be located outside 75-mile radius of facility
• Scrub colors: any combination of navy blue and white
• Clinical skills required: IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, cardiac monitoring & emergency response, interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team use, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac
• Experience in MS/Tele settings required
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during contract period without charges

This 528-bed acute care teaching facility is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The organization is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including heart, cancer, neuroscience, pediatric emergency, and birthing centers. The 26-bed unit specializes in care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, and cardiac pharmacologic interventions, with advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology.
