Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with nights, weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays within contract
• 48-hour contract with overtime available after 48 hours (overtime billed after 48 on 4x12 schedule)
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit and may be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held
• Strong neuro experience required including post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke care
• Skills required: ventilators, IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia and emergency management
• 3 years critical care experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less experience)
• Travel experience preferred
• Must be EPIC proficient - no exceptions
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association, NIHSS
• VA or Compact license required in hand at time of submittal
• Must pass EKG testing with 80% or higher (one attempt, no remediation available)
• 3 hours of pre-start modules required (billable)
• No candidates accepted if residing less than 50 miles from facility
• Patient populations include neurosurgical and post-stroke, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-surgical, trauma, sepsis and MODS, heart failure and post-cardiac cath
• Must have no license or background hits - facility will not consider any prior hits
