Job Details:

• Block scheduling with 1:1 patient ratios
• Call required as part of position
• Must have 3+ years of OR experience
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Must wear teal scrubs
• NY license required in hand to submit
• Required certifications: BLS, CNOR
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• Float to other units as needed
• Experience required in diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic total joint and trauma, neurology, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Must be proficient in extensive range of surgical procedures including bariatric, ENT, general surgery, cardiovascular, thoracic, gynecological, neurological, orthopedic, plastic, podiatric, and urological surgeries
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
• Must be skilled in safety protocols including code response, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, and specimen handling
• Up to 5 billable hours for required modules completed pre-start

The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The surgical department utilizes advanced technology including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and maintains high standards for safety protocols and patient care across all surgical specialties.
