Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for 13 weeks
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7
• Required to float within skillset
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Must be proficient in cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and Rapid Response/Code team activation
• IV therapy/phlebotomy skills including peripheral line care/management
• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration/tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted
• Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours)

This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute, Lipson Cancer Institute, Neuroscience Institute, Pediatric & Young Adult Emergency Center, and Twig Birthing Center. The facility provides advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology services.
