RN - ER

Job Details:

• 5 years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling with every other weekend requirement
• Weekend coverage required with 3 shifts per week
• 24-hour orientation period
• Care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with daily census of 50-70 patients in 12-room, 11-bed emergency department
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Skills required include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system

This coastal healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 12 rooms and 11 beds, serving a daily census of 50-70 patients. The facility maintains Trauma Level II capabilities and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary support. The emergency department is equipped to handle diverse patient populations across all age groups and offers advanced emergency care services.
