Opportunity:
MRI Tech - MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Monday through Friday schedule with Friday as part of regular M-F schedule
• On-call requirements: 1-2 nights per week from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and every 5th weekend (Saturday/Sunday - 24 hours)
• Weekend requirement: Friday only as part of M-F schedule and on-call
• 80-hour orientation period
• No floating required
• Work with adult acute care, adult outpatient, neonates, adolescents, infants, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 30 patients
• Work in 2-room facility
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (R) (MR)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Philips MRI experience preferred
• Charting system: Centricity
• Skills include: Abdomen, Breast, Chest, GE, PACS, Brain, Face/soft tissue neck, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image post-processing, Multiplanar reconstruction, Perfusion, Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
• Work with Philips scanners
• PA license not required
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA fingerprints required
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive MRI department with modern Phillips scanners and advanced imaging capabilities. The facility provides imaging services for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics, maintaining a daily census of approximately 30 patients. The department features a 2-room setup with interdisciplinary radiology support and utilizes Centricity charting system for patient documentation and workflow management.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
