Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour shifts with days/nights rotation schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for some holidays
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg patients
• Care for 26-bed unit primarily treating CHF patients, acute MIs, post device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias
• Floating to other units is required
• Must have 1 year of experience
• NY license required in hand - no exceptions
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• Scrub color: any combination of navy and white
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, respiratory care with nasal cannula and oxygen administration, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours)
• First time travelers accepted
