Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating to other units is required
• Must handle patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients
• Work on high volume unit with 26 beds caring for CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers) and patients with arrhythmias
• Also care for 51 bed general surgery patients including colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic center patients, breast procedures and reconstruction surgeries
• Must have 1 year of nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience is required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Must have NY license in hand to submit - no exceptions
• First time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted - must be more than 75 mile radius from facility
• Required skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, blood product administration, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Scrub color requirements: any combination of navy and white
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total, 5 hours billable)
