Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with night schedule and every other weekend
• 48 hour contract with overtime available after 48 hours (overtime billed after 48 on 4x12)
• Float to Stepdown Unit required; may also float to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3
• Strong neuro experience required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke)
• Must be proficient with vents, IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia and emergency management
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS
• VA or Compact license in hand at time of submittal required - no exceptions
• Must be EPIC proficient - no exceptions
• 3 years critical care experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less)
• Travel experience preferred
• Must pass EKG testing with 80% or higher (one attempt only, no remediation)
• 3 hours of pre-start modules required
• Cannot reside within 50 miles of facility
• No license or background hits accepted
• Care for patients with neurosurgical and post-stroke conditions, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-surgical, trauma, sepsis and MODS, heart failure and post-cardiac catheterization
