Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in intensive care unit with 2:1 patient ratios during days and nights
• Every other weekend requirement
• On call/call off based on census
• Possibility to float to ER or Med/Surg (floating to Med/Surg will be last resort)
• When floating to ER or Med/Surg, nurse/patient ratios will be 1:4-5
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 4-6 patients in 6-bed unit with 9 rooms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
• BSN degree required
• CA RN License required
• 2 years of ICU experience minimum required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be comfortable with advanced ICU skills including CVVHD/CRRT, ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and more
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Completion of non-billable e-learning modules during orientation
