RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Progressive Care Unit with 1:5 patient ratios (may occasionally flex to 1:6)
• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• Regular floating required between departments, units and facilities
• Must hold both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact licenses
• 2 years of recent specialty experience required with full year in-specialty within past 12 months
• No gap in employment greater than 90 days in past year
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Navy scrub color required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Care for patients with medical diagnoses related to pulmonary, wounds, urology, general cardiac, general neuro, and general renal conditions
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line management, chest tube care, heparin protocols, and wound care
• Must complete 10-15 hours of pre-start modules
• Infusion pump and glucometer training required before start date
• Free parking provided
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
