RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week with 36 hours guaranteed
• May be called off up to three shifts in 13 weeks
• Every other weekend required
• Float to multiple units including Med Surg, Trauma, Oncology, Heart and Vascular, Neuro, Medicine and COVID
• Float between multiple facilities: Barnes, Christian, MO Baptist, West County, St. Peters, Progress West
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Some floors utilize primary nursing model
• Must be strong, independent, and experienced nurses
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: Chemo, CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI
• IV start skills required
• Triage and telemetry skills preferred
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - will not accept first-time travelers
• Must complete fit testing and be willing to shave facial hair if necessary
• Complete modules pre-start through WorkRamp (billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr)
• EPIC charting system experience required for certain units
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
