Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 36 hours guaranteed with ability to be called off three shifts in 13 weeks
• Every other weekend required
• Float to Med Surg, Trauma, Oncology, Heart and Vascular, Neuro, Medicine and COVID units
• Will float to multiple facilities including Barnes, Christian, MO Baptist, West County, St. Peters, and Progress West
• Some floors use primary nursing model
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - will not accept first time travelers
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: Chemo, CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI
• IV start skills required
• Triage and Telemetry skills preferred
• Must be strong, independent, experienced nurse capable of floating across large campus
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include MS/Tele, Telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, renal failure management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, IV management, heparin protocols, CVA care, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, and isolation precautions
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on Monday of week before initial start date
