Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PICU
Job Details:
• 13-week assignment with nights or rotating shifts
• Work 3 weekends per six-week schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends (may be 1:1 or 2:1 based on acuity)
• May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• Pediatric cardiac experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Can approve up to 40 hours for time off per 13-week contract
• Unable to approve time off during first 2 weeks of contract
• Unable to approve July 4th off
• Care for combined pediatric cardiac and medical critical care patients
• Work with high census and high acuity unit (23 daily census, 25 beds)
• Handle complex procedures including ECMO, VADs, CRRT
• Treat patients ranging from neonates to adolescents
• Manage various conditions including cardiac cases, trauma, seizures, post-operative cases
• Must be comfortable with advanced skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, and continuous sedation

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
