RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 shifts
• 40 hours of orientation required
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in 18-room operating suite with daily census of 55
• 2 years of direct RN OR experience required with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurosurgery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Complete time-sensitive modules pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Participate in teaching facility activities including training students and new staff
• Experience required with various surgical procedures including robotics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and vascular procedures
• Work with advanced surgical equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Mako Surgical System
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission
