Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3 shifts per week)
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio throughout all shifts
• Every 3rd weekend coverage required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 127 visits per day in 38-bed emergency department
• Manage various emergency conditions including trauma, medical emergencies, and psychiatric patients
• Perform procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, and triage
• Work with interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• No on-call responsibilities

This acute care hospital features 233 staffed beds and provides comprehensive emergency services with a dedicated 38-bed emergency department. The facility handles a high volume of emergency cases with approximately 127 visits daily, treating patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The emergency department includes a separate area for psychiatric patients and offers full interdisciplinary support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
