RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 36 hours guaranteed per week for 3-12 hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Travel experience required
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirements
• Navy scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Provide emergency care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 127 visits per day in a 38-bed emergency department
• Work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Manage various emergency conditions including trauma, medical emergencies, and psychiatric cases
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Free parking provided
