RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour variable shifts including 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, or 7p-7a
• Every other weekend rotation required with no call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during night shifts
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Must float to other campus locations for support when census permits within scope of practice
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 1-5 hours
• Provide competent, compassionate patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices
• Handle diverse emergency cases including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and behavioral health conditions
