RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in Progressive Care Unit with 1:5 patient ratios
• 2 years of nursing experience required, previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in 6-week schedule period, combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• Float to all MSI units including ED to care for inpatient holds
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 31
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Work with Epic charting system
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, telemetry, IV therapy, blood product administration, chest tube management, wound care, and various cardiac procedures
• Manage patients with post-cardiac procedures, stroke, renal failure, and orthopedic conditions
• Experience with heparin protocols, cardiac drips, PCA pumps, and respiratory equipment required
• Must complete Epic training module, infusion pump training, and glucometer training prior to start
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed

The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern Epic electronic health records for seamless patient management.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
