RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Work with patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 42-bed emergency department with daily census of 200
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be willing to obtain if offered)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Must be willing to work some holidays
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, emergency medications, procedural sedation, trauma care, and triage
• Experience with burns, psychiatric holds, chest tube management, ventilated patients, and gunshot wounds
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• On-site drug screening required
• All documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
• Must maintain active nursing license before start date
• Local radius of 50 miles applies
