RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends
• Department will make every attempt to keep shifts at the same start time each week
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 33-bed emergency department with daily census of 16 patients
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified)
• California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• One holiday request will be approved
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department with 33 beds and provides care for patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics. The facility maintains Trauma Level II capabilities and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The emergency department handles a wide range of conditions and utilizes Epic charting system for documentation.
