Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work night shifts in the SRO Float Pool floating to various ICU and intermediate care units
• Float to Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders
• Available for 36 or 48 hour schedules
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Cannot approve time off for Memorial Day or 4th of July
• Up to 40 hours of approved time off per 13-week contract
• Patient ratios: 1.5 during days and weekends, 2 during nights
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must adhere to facility float policy
• Virginia license required (can submit with pending license but must have in-hand Wednesday before start date)
• Skills include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, ICP monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and Level 1 trauma experience
• Must complete orientation modules (non-billable up to 16 hours)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
