RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Neuro

Job Details:

• Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratios: 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
• 2 years of experience required, specifically 2 years in neuro setting
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Float within scope to meet facility needs within service line or other ICUs
• Guaranteed hours: Yes, 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, BSN, 10 hours stroke education
• Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Care for patients with ischemic strokes, neuromuscular disorders, seizure disorders, CNS infections, hemorrhagic strokes, subdural/epidural hematomas, neurotrauma
• Manage ICP monitoring (EVDs/bolts), vasoactive medications, central line/arterial line management, CRRT, hypothermia/hyperthermia management, spinal precautions
• Work with special equipment including EVD and bolt
• Complete 10 hours of stroke education during orientation
• Looking for candidates with past experience in a Comprehensive Stroke Center
• No on-call required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13 week contract
