RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as part of Resource Pool with ability to float between Church Street and Mary Black Campus locations
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• 2 years of experience preferred; will consider 1+ year nurses on case-by-case basis
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend coverage as needed with varying shifts based on facility requirements
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Must be able to pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• One of the following requirements: 2 on-call shifts OR 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks
• Will consider 48-hour shifts if interested
• Must pass cardiac dysrhythmia test and moderate sedation test on first day with only one chance to pass
• Shaving may be required to pass fit test onsite
• All requested time off must be included on initial submission
• Strict attendance policy: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in cancellation
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including cardiac stepdown and overflow areas
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
• Pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to start date
