RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required
• Must have 18 months true telemetry experience with cardiac expertise including titrating drips, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and experience with sheaths
• Must be willing to float to all competent units within facility
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score, including lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC preferred
• Cerner charting system experience required with no exceptions
• Must complete 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs and 4 hours of pre-start modules
• Required scrubs: Navy Blue
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• No block scheduling or time off requests approved after submission
• Must maintain strict compliance with HealthStream module deadlines
• Experience required with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, and post cardiac procedures
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with various cardiac conditions
