RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work alternating shift schedules between 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM throughout the week depending on staffing needs
• You may be scheduled for different shift times within the same week
• 3 years of operating room experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Must have experience in diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic total joint and trauma, neurosurgery, gynecology/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Required certifications: BLS and CNOR
• Must be competent in phlebotomy and IV placement as mandatory skills
• EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement
• New York nursing license required in hand to submit
• Must wear teal scrubs
• Call responsibilities required
• Floating to other units required
• Must be comfortable with extensive list of surgical procedures including general surgery, bariatric procedures, vascular surgeries, thoracic cases, ENT procedures, gynecological surgeries, neurosurgery, orthopedic procedures, plastic surgery, podiatric procedures, and urological cases
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Must maintain competency in safety protocols including code response, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, and infection control
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted
• Maximum 10 days of requested time off allowed
