RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in telemetry/step-down unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Every other weekend requirement (Saturday and Sunday)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of experience required
• Telemetry/step-down experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience with EKG and cardiac drips required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Guaranteed hours provided
• No on-call requirements
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, arrhythmias, ACS, heart valve disease, CAD, and pulmonary hypertension
• Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization care, pacemaker/AICD placement care, and anti-arrhythmic drug loading
• Skills required include cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, heparin protocols, cardiac drip management, and wound care
• Must complete Relias EKG test
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Unit has 32 beds with daily census of 32 patients

The facility features 1,266 total staffed beds and utilizes EPIC charting systems throughout.
