RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with call and late days as required
• Provide operating room nursing care for neurosurgery/spine, orthopedic/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma procedures
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• 40-hour orientation period required
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• Non-billable modules completed during orientation (average 6-8 hours)
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must live outside 150-mile radius from facility
• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
