RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule
• Weekend coverage required - 2 weekends per month
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Float required within skillset as needed in IMCU Float Pool
• Blocked scheduling is not guaranteed
• Patient ratio of 5:1 with goal of 4:1
• Must be comfortable caring for patients of all ages including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified)
• NC license or Multistate license required
• EPIC experience and proficiency required
• 2 years of IMC/Tele/PCU experience required
• 2+ years of travel experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management (no titration), oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• Dress code requires all navy or all white scrubs
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility
• Driver's license required for address verification

This medical center features a 24-bed stepdown unit with an average daily census of 20-24 patients. The facility operates an IMCU Float Pool following PCU/Tele protocols and provides comprehensive intermediate care services. The organization maintains modern equipment and utilizes EPIC charting systems to deliver quality patient care across multiple age groups and medical conditions.
