Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work first shift with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 5x8 hours/day Monday-Friday
• Call requirements include rotating primary call (approximately every 4 weeks) and backup call (approximately 7 days every 9 weeks)
• Weekend call rotation required every 5th-6th weekend
• Daily caseload of 13-17 procedures
• Handle all IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, and neurological studies
• Must have minimum 1 year experience with neuro experience required
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Required skills: Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, contrast procedures, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic procedures, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access
• Must have experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Preferred certifications: ARRT Advanced Certification
• Experience with Epic and McKesson preferred
• Must be skilled in both neuro/stroke intervention and body procedures
• Hospital orientation required during first week with mandatory daily class attendance
• Scrubs provided
• Must complete lab work and testing within 48 hours of signing
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• No float requirements within unit
