RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of 18 patients across 32 beds in 17 rooms
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• California RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Travel experience required with minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 50 miles travel requirement applies
• Comprehensive skills required including accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tubes, colostomy care, feeding tube management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and many other specialized nursing skills
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Only one holiday request will be approved
• 7-year work history verification required
