RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12 hour variable shifts ranging from 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No call requirements
• Night shift patient ratio of 4:1
• Float to other campus locations for support when census permits within scope of practice
• Provide competent, compassionate and cost-effective patient care in accordance with unit policies
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 72 hours of orientation required
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• California RN licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
• Travel experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation through e-learning system
• Must meet 50 miles travel requirement
