RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiac and Medical PCU - True ICU Stepdown unit
• Available shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour options
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for 3x12-hour shifts, 48 hours for 4x12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Patient ratio: 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within scope to meet facility needs required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 18 months of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (NIH preferred)
• Indiana state license required and must be in hand prior to start date
• Required skills: Telemetry, IV start, cardiac & vasoactive drips, BiPAP and high flow oxygen
• Level I, II, III, or IV certification required
• Preferred experience: Vents, charge nurse experience, conscious sedation
• Care for patients with heart caths, BiPAP, cardiac and vasoactive drips including Levo, Dopa, Nitro, Cardizem, and Amio
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit has 27 beds
• Dress code: Red top, black bottoms
• Chart using Cerner system
• Free parking provided
