RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends
• Department will make every attempt to keep shifts at the same start time each week
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 24 hours of orientation required
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Work in 33-bed emergency department with daily census of 16
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified)
• California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 1-5 hours

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 33 beds and maintains a daily census of 16 patients. The facility is designated as a Trauma Level II center and provides care for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The emergency department is supported by extensive interdisciplinary services including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support, ensuring comprehensive patient care delivery.
