RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 3+ years of nursing experience required with BSN degree
• Level I Trauma, Liver and Kidney transplant experience required
• Orthopedic, Neurology, and Robotic surgery experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel nursing experience required - no first-time travelers
• PA or compact state license required at time of submission
• Must be willing to rotate to 2 weekend shifts per schedule
• May float to GI and Pain units as needed
• Maximum call requirements in 6-week schedule: 2 weekend call shifts and 4 weeknight call shifts
• Must work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday (12-hour or 8-hour shifts depending on need)
• Must take on-call for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
• Skills required: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, spinal fusions, craniotomy, vascular procedures, cardiovascular surgery, neurology surgery, transplant surgery, trauma, and general OR
• Charting system: Cerner
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Work with adults only, daily census of 30 patients, 14 operating rooms
