Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
• Work independently with sound judgment and developed clinical skills
• Execute safe and precise CT procedures including CTA, calcium scores, and structural CTs
• Possible weekend shifts as needed
• Patient ratios: 2 during days, 1 on weekends
• Daily census of 17 patients with approximately 100 visits per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Provide patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or (CT), CA Radiation license, CA fluoroscopy license
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Complete orientation modules (1-5 hours average)
• Skills include coronary CTA, CT arthrography, contrast media administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
