RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in intensive care unit with 2:1 patient ratios during days and nights
• Every other weekend requirement with on-call/call-off based on census
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census ranges from 4-6 patients in a 6-bed unit with 9 total rooms
• Possibility to float to ER or Med/Surg units (Med/Surg float is last resort with 1:4-5 patient ratios)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (must be AHA certified)
• BSN degree required
• California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours during orientation
• Skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, and various critical care procedures
• 7-year work history verification required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
